BLACK VOODOO RECORDS

Badblood was created in the cold winter of 2011 in the saturated scene that is Los Angeles. With their crafted sound of loud and unforgiving Crust punk mixed with distortion driven down tuned Sludge the band quickly put their foot down as heavy music juggernauts. From the beating of the drums to the lyrical content, Badblood paints a story of failure and misery. The band begun to show their colors with their first release “Badblood” self-titled which contained 4 songs. With the rare corpse painted shows and volume knobs at their fullest, Badblood started to draw some attention and released their second album with hardcore band, Ruptures. The split contained 6 songs with both bands contributing 3 songs each, to which Badblood later re-named, “3 songs” when posted online. Following the two releases the band embarked on a West Coast tour with now label mates They as in Them which included crust festival, Libertatia. Upon getting back home from tour the band immediately entered the studio for the 3rd time to record “Slaughterhouse Blues”, which included the song “Rape Seed” that was featured on Toxicbreeds Funhouse’s Casa de Diversion vol. 3. Now on the Irish Voodoo/ Black Voodoo roster, Badblood is set to release their 4th studio album and first vinyl release in the Spring of 2013, titled “End Me.”
