Shadows is a 5 piece straightedge hardcore band from Orange County, California.   They started with a 3 song demo in 2008 and played a handful of shows.   Due to member complications, Shadows went on a hiatus for a while and came back with a new 4 song demo. Again, their time playing shows was short lived due to member complications.  After regrouping again, the band wrote and put out their first full length titled “Broken Promises” during the summer of 2010, and toured the West coast to promote it. Shadows is Buddy Porter, Sam Matthews, Ian Hodges, and Brandon Flores.
